Back for the second year, the East Basketball Association is sponsoring the Splash Brothers Club for our players this summer!
In order to be a certified Splash Brother, players must exceed 20,000 shots between May 1st and September 30th. Anyone that reaches the 20,000 shot goal will receive a Splash Brothers sweatshirt. The top 5 players will also receive additional prizes.
Additionally, we’re doing a team competition for each grade level. Since each grade level has a different total number of players, we’ll determine the winner based on the average number of shots per player in that grade. If grade A takes 50,000 shots and has 10 players, and grade B takes 45,000 shots with 8 players, grade B would win because they have a higher average. The team with the highest average per player at the end of the summer will receive a prize.
The goal of becoming a Splash Brother is to develop confident and consistent shooters. You must be true to yourself and be honest about what you want to get out of this. It’s a good idea to establish a practice routine. Record information with your shot attempts and shots made and you will be able to track your improvement throughout the summer.
QUALIFICATIONS AND RULES:
Shots must be logged the day you complete your shots.
You must shoot game shots at game speed. Use the ball toss method to get a great workout.
Free Throws should be included in your shooting workout.
Shooting done at team practices and basketball camps do not count towards your goal.
Throughout the summer, you can track your progress below. Shot totals should be updated in real-time once you submit your shots in the form. If you don’t see the total update, try clearing your cache or opening a new browser.
