The ultimate goal of our summer program is to provide the players within our program a great basketball experience at a low price. We strive to improve the fundamentals of each player in the program by working on footwork, ball handling, shooting, and overall defensive skill. These are essential components in becoming a better basketball player. When it comes to building a basketball player, there is NO more important time! We need our kids in the gym!
2024 Youth Summer Program
For Boys Entering Grades 3-8 (Entering the 2024-2025 School Year)
NOTE: We will accept all registrants. You do not have to live within ISD709 (East Attendance Zone) to attend our youth camps.
DEVELOPMENT CAMP
PRICE: $150
3 Week Camp: June 10th-June 27th (4 Days Per Week)

ORDEAN EAST MIDDLE SCHOOL
At Development Camp, our sessions focus on individual player development through a variety of offensive drills and small-sided games (1v1, 2v2, 3v3 and more) that focus on footwork, ball handling, finishing at the rim, shooting consistency, creating space offensively, creating and maintaining offensive advantages, and more! We also introduce offensive and defensive concepts to our players with breakdown sessions and competitions. Each session will be planned to maximize the number of repetitions each player receives. Development Camp will be a learning experience FOR ALL INDIVIDUALS that increases work ethic, effort, and confidence each player has in his own “game”.

ORDEAN EAST MIDDLE SCHOOL
At Competition Camp, we teach our players the value of competition. Our sessions focus on the individual development of all players through different types of competition. Campers can expect to compete against each other through daily contests, 3 on 3 League Play, 5 on 5 League Play, and our Fastbreak League. These sessions are jam-packed with FUN!

2024 High School Summer Practices
For Boys Entering Grades 9-12 (Entering the 2024-2025 School year)
The Registration "Summer Program" is not currently available.
NOTE: In order to participate in Summer Practices, you MUST live within ISD709 (East Attendance Zone) or attending East High School.
Our high school practices are designed for basketball players, grades 9-12, at EHS (next academic year, 2023-2024). Each session is carefully planned to maximize the number of quality reps a player achieves. We want this to be an intense learning experience that increases the work ethic, effort, confidence, and enjoyment of each of our basketball players in our program.
The coaching staff will work on team concepts on the offensive and defensive sides of the basketball. Ultimately, our summer practice program is a springboard for our upcoming high school basketball season.
NOTE: If your son would like to participate in Summer League, he must participate in practices.

2024 High School Summer League
For Boys Entering Grades 9-12 (Entering the 2024-2025 School year)
SUMMER LEAGUE INFORMATION: For players entering grades 9-12, there will be opportunities to play in structured/competitive games throughout the summer. We feel that this is an important part of our development as a team. We are looking at having about 8-10 guys on these teams.
THREE LEVELS OFFERED: Teams will be selected by the coaching staff prior to the specific tournament dates, based on who we have available for these tournaments. If there are low numbers, we will ask some of our 8th graders (2022-23 School Year) to participate to fill the void. IN ORDER FOR PLAYERS TO PARTICIPATE IN SUMMER LEAGUE, THEY NEED TO PARTICIPATE IN SUMMER PRACTICE (See above).
PAYMENT: This year, the cost to participate in the summer league is $125. This cost includes all of the following events and summer uniform.
